Geoff Hawkins talks on "Herbaceous Borders"

Another speaker making a welcome return to YDGS. This time he will be talking about Herbaceous Borders.

In January 2012 Geoff retired as head gardener from the private estate of Mill Court near Alton, Hampshire where he had worked since 1977.
As a head gardener running a small estate of 30 acres meant that he worked in greenhouses, vegetable and fruit gardens, herbaceous and shrub borders as well as looking after the trees, ponds and natural features on the estate.
Since retiring he has been available for more daytime talks and is based in Alton, Hampshire.
