YDGS visit to Longstock Water Garden

On June 13th a coachload of YDGS members and guests set off to Longstock Water Garden, having stopped for a coffee break near to the venue. The weather unfortunately was not kind to us and it was a cold, damp day. Please watch the video slideshow above and had it been a beautiful sunny day, it would have shown this Garden at its best. However, it is still a lovely calm place to visit, enjoy the pictures!

After the visit to Longstock, the coach party set off to visit Sir Harold Hillier Gardens. It was a rather troublesome journey hampered by a major roadworks diversion. By now the weather had taken a turn for the worse and as a result, disappointingly, any photographs would not have shown this beautiful venue at its best. Apologies for not publishing a slideshow.
